Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Vakya account and all associated data at any time, directly from within the app. No request or waiting period is required.

How to delete your account

• Open the Vakya app and sign in.
• Go to Settings.
• Tap your profile card at the top to open the Account screen.
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
• Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the following from our servers:

• Your account and profile (name, email, profile photo).
• Your saved (favorited) verses.
• Your daily streak and activity.
• Your notification token and notification preferences.

This action is immediate and cannot be undone. We do not retain a copy of your personal data after deletion.

Subscriptions

If you have an active subscription purchased through the Google Play Store, please also cancel it from your Google Play account, as subscriptions are managed by Google and are separate from your Vakya account data.

If you cannot access the app and need your account deleted, email us at vishnu@vakya.fun from the email address associated with your account, and we will delete it for you.
