यज्ञशिष्टाशिनः सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषैः। भुञ्जते ते त्वघं पापा ये पचन्त्यात्मकारणात्।।3.13।।
Transliteration
yajña-śhiṣhṭāśhinaḥ santo muchyante sarva-kilbiṣhaiḥ bhuñjate te tvaghaṁ pāpā ye pachantyātma-kāraṇāt
Translation
The good, who eat what remains after the offering, are freed from all wrongs. But those who cook only for themselves feed on their own wrongdoing.

जो सज्जन यज्ञ के बाद बचे हुए को खाते हैं, वे हर दोष से मुक्त हो जाते हैं। पर जो केवल अपने लिए पकाते हैं, वे अपने ही पाप को खाते हैं।
