तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः। गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते।।3.28।।
Transliteration
tattva-vit tu mahā-bāho guṇa-karma-vibhāgayoḥ guṇā guṇeṣhu vartanta iti matvā na sajjate
Translation
The one who knows the truth, mighty Arjuna, sees how nature's forces and actions are separate. Knowing that the forces merely act upon the forces, they stay unattached.

हे महाबाहु अर्जुन, जो सत्य को जानता है, वह देखता है कि प्रकृति की शक्तियाँ और कर्म अलग हैं। यह जानकर कि शक्तियाँ ही शक्तियों पर काम करती हैं, वह अनासक्त रहता है।
